Wedding at the Medusa Art Studio
AAA Royal Catering recently catered a Wedding for fifty guests at the Medusa Art Studio located at 1814 Astoria Blvd. in the heart of Astroria, Queens NY. This studio, built in 1938, has captured its antique design with a unique modern personality to create an intimate event space that can accommodate up to sixty guests with a 2200 square foot party room that includes a bar area and an additional backyard garden.
Our catering staff arrived at the Medusa Art Studio one hour before the guest arrival time to set up. At 5pm our bartender was ready to serve an assortment of mixed and signature drinks along with wine & beer. The wait staff prepared all the appetizers. Vegetable crudités, cheese bar and a variety of six hot hors d'oeuvres were on the menu and served butler style.
Light background music played as guests began to arrive. Our servers greeted each guest with a refreshing mimosa while other servers continued to pass hors d'oeuvres that consisted of franks in a blanket, fried mozzarella triangles, stuffed mushrooms, potato puffs, chicken satays & mini egg rolls.
The main course was a Southern Style BBQ Buffet consisting of sliced BBQ Beef Brisket with Our Tangy Mopping Sauce, Southern Fried Chicken, & Pulled Pork with Our Tangy Mopping Sauce with fixins of Grilled Vegetables, Macaroni and Cheese, & Garlic Smashed Potatoes accompanied by our creamy homemade cole slaw, cornbread & BBQ buns.
At 8:30pm we served Lemon flavored Gelato Ices in authentic Italian cups and followed with wedding cake, coffee & tea.
